John Dam Crothers

John is a young, queer emerging artist, now living and working in Belfast. His work consists of both traditional and digital art, heavily inspired by impressionism and animation for games and film. John has a Bachelors in Games Art and Design from Norwich University of the Arts, where he studied Concept Art and world building. He has displayed work in Ireland and the UK, including at Artcetera and the Usfolk, Big Queer Art Show, in Belfast. He is currently an artist in residence at Digital Art Studios. ​ Sketchbooks and people-watching are John’s favourite pastime, he spends every spare second jotting down ideas, making eccentric mark-marking and doodling in books he shouldn't.
