Hannah Winter

My practice is built around my strong love of colour, composition and storytelling. Through analogue processes, I explore the realms of collage and texture, appreciating the human feel of design. I use scraps of leftover, torn paper as a starting point, allowing the materials to guide the creative process. By closely observing my surroundings, I relish the interplay between the artificial and the genuine – whether it’s pairing plants with alcohol or the deliberate placement of paper grain. My processes of creating are fun and fluid therefore making the outcome of my works reflect this. I want viewers to explore my art through the different textures and shapes to spark a story or feeling.
