I am an experienced animation artist, having worked for Paper Owl Studios as a writer for their series Pablo. Since graduating from the University of Teesside, I have had an exceptional understanding of perspective and worked with ToonBoom programs to create 2D animation, using an outstanding experience of applying strong posing and character. In this project for Reece Scane Media, my proposed animation sequence for their news scene emphasised the humour in a visually exciting way whilst their character read the news. I learnt a strong knowledge of layout and composition, with a demonstrated and accomplished understanding of story and staging from illustrating Annabelle Lilly’s children’s book, ‘Berky Boing Boing and the Frenchman.’ I communicated emotive character and witty comedy throughout my illustrations, delivering them on schedule and working calmly and efficiently under pressure from the author.
